"Those Damn Dudley's" Wednesday - October 8th, 2003

Yeah like the title says, if this was a comic about either Fighting Spirit or Pro Wrestling, right now is right when Joe would come in and nail Lord Hawk from behind with a nasty chair shot. Unfortunately for Yuki, this is not the case.

I have been giving this some thought for some time now, and I figured to take some advice given to me and sign up for a webcomic list site. So I went and found Buzzcomics and signed myself up. Now here's the deal if you like the comic and would like other people to know about it, then vote on Buzzcomics. I want to take the time right now to thank you very much for even reading and I would be honored if you thought highly enough about this little thing I do to want to spread the word. Not being a knock to other web cartoonists, but personally I'm not going to sit here and hound you for your vote week in and week out. I'll just leave the vote link down on the bottom of the page and out of the way. Just so you know, they don't count multiple votes per computer a day. The most you can vote is once a day. Either way I thank you again.

Now that I've finished whoring myself out, I'd like to say that I'm looking forward to the weekend. I think Tom is coming up on Saturday and then we're making the trip to Tahoe's. That's ALWAYS good times.

You want to know what Bad times are?

Try ML Baseball.... NEVER before has there been a playoffs in my mind where even before the 1st round ended, I couldn't stand any team remaining. I'm not talking that I don't care about any of the teams winning. I'm talking that if my wish of having the Giants not winning the Series couldn't be granted, then option two would be to wish that these teams burn in hell. However I will spare you all and NOT go into this again. Almost anyone I talk to on a regular basis has already heard me go off on baseball for minutes on end.

Bad Times... Try NHL hockey... I just found out that the only other sports team I truly care about, The LA Kings, will be without two of their top players. So now I can't even escape into hockey like I do after every F'in season of baseball disappointment ends. At least in previous years I was able to delude myself that the Kings had a shot. Must be great to have a team you like win a championship.

So to wrap this up... in the words of Brian Regan... Can life get any better? I SUBMIT THAT IT CANNOT!!

So how about that lightning huh? I actually learned to do it right off a tutorial on Buzzcomics. I'm not sure who to really credit, but I just don't want to claim it for myself. I was generally happy with the way everything turned out in Spirit 58. I wanted more pronounced speed lines across Yuki's face in P4, but what can you do? Also if any of you are wondering, Lord Hawk has gray crap all over him because he is still covered with a little gravel and dirt. All in all a solid strip.

Well I'm off to sleep. Will Yuki survive what seems to be the finishing attack? Magic 8 Ball says ask again later.
