Comic for Thursday August 28th, 2003

I am way too tired to post right now. I worked close to 11 hours and that screwed my whole time set up for this comic. I don't know how well it came out, but I will definitely post again tomorrow to explain things a bit.

"Still need sleep" Thursday - August 29th, 2003

Okay I'm back and while I need to get to sleep, it's a lot better then where I was last night. I spent my last day at the Fair tonight and I had fun as usual. Enjoyed all the usual goodies and such. I'm sad that I won't be able to go back till it reopens next year. Though I suppose the fact that it only comes once a year lends itself to the appeal. I look forward to being able to go back next year.

Other then that I guess life is status quo. I've been going to work, then going to the Fair, and then going to sleep. I'm pretty worn out right now. I'm going down to Long island for the Labor Day weekend. It should be fun. I'm spending time with my family for the most part. I'm also going to try and get to the Big Apple Anime Fest. It'll have to be Sunday if at all. Maybe some other webcomic guys will be there. Like people from good webcomics like Stubble. We'll see.

Due to the fact I won't be home, all the traveling, and the fact that the next two comics look to be pretty big, I might take a week off drawing the comic, but we'll see. It depends on how much work I can get done this weekend. If I don't end up drawing the comic, I'll be sure to post something special.

So speaking about that Ninja Spirit comic right? Okay first let me apologize for such a drastic change of pace. It had to be done and hopefully it doesn't disrupt things too much. This comic coulda been a hundred times better too. Some of the things I had been worried about turned out okay, but due to the time constraints, there were a lot of mistakes that shouldn't have been in there. Enough to make annoy me and set me on edge.

The good things are that Joe is back and should put to rest all the questions on if he really is dead or not. Although I'm sure the speculation now will be whether or not Joe will come back to life. We'll see.

In terms of general storyline, this comic will eventually make more sense as more things become revealed. J Elvis makes his appearance and will continue to be a bit of a cameo type of character. Look for Spirit 49 to be a bit wordy as some exciting things happen and are explained. This all of course will tie into Spirit 50, which will not only solve the whole Joe issue, but also resume Yuki and Lord Hawk's fight. I'm sure it'll be somewhat bigger then the usual comic.

Anyway that's it for now. I'm falling asleep. I'm sure I'm missing a lot. I had planned to explain Spirit 47 in more detail, but hopefully everyone was able to follow along. Have a great Labor Day weekend and enjoy the holidays whereever you are!
