Comic for Sunday August 18th, 2003

Damn!! I wrote my whole post and then my computer crashed to leave me feeling pretty pissed!! I hate when this happens!! At least it didn't happen while I was actually doing the comic because that is the worst. Although losing a post when you just about have it done pisses you off too. Okay since I'm not about to go back into the detail of before I will explain briefly what I had written before.

My weekend - Did nothing but play video games and watch TV. Worked earlier today, this beginning my 7 day work week.

Fairly Odd Parents - One of the best non anime cartoons that exist today and the best Nick has to offer in its lineup. I love the show and it's breakneck pace and random hilarity. I recommend that you try watching one or two shows. I just saw the movie this weekend and I was definitely not disappointed.

Cyber Formula - The anime has to be one of my favorite of all time. Probably right under Saint Seiya. I love the racing scenes and the characters are excellent. Should be the best motor racing anime of all time. I recently came into owning a copy of a PC game based on Cyber Formula and I love it to death. Though there are only 6 cars, each one is so perfect it hurts the eyes. All the mode changes and boosts are in there and are seamless. Graphically, the game is amazing. Things start falling apart when it comes to the game play. The game is hard and the learning curve is very steep. Unfortunately there is not difficulty setting so you're stuck racing against an AI that is near super human. You also don't have a lot to do besides race in a 4 race championship and race a time trial. However I repeat that this is a Cyber Formula game and that alone makes me want to play it all the time.

Spirit 45 - I didn't particularly like this one and while I won't go into the tirade I launched in Version 1.0 of this post I will say that the script is horrendous and the art could've been better. There see I kept everything at a minimum. I do like Misaki in Panel 2 and the gif worked pretty nice. I think it's just the rust from not having any fight scenes in forever. I promise that it'll get better. The action will definitely be heating up and although Yuki may still be fast, he'll realize that lord Hawk is still hiding some tricks up his sleeve.

As for Joe? Well... he was just this guy. You know?
