| "Vice City" Sunday - August 10th, 2003 It's late and I need sleep before I have to go off to work tomorrow. I will say that I finally broke down and purchased GTA Vice City over the weekend. I hadn't noticed that it had dropped in price till yesterday and so I went out to EB and made my purchase with nothing but thoughts of gunning people down and jacking their rides. In regards to how much I like it so far, I will say that it plays exactly like GTA 3, but there is so much more to the game that makes it that much better. Definitely worth the price of admission. I still laugh every time I hit someone on a motorcycle and they go flying hundreds of feet through the air. Okay enough ranting about GTA. I need so much sleep. Jen from work got married today! Yay for Jen and Kevin! I got to look after their dog Hershey today. Very nice and playful dog. He was a lab/Shepard mix. The Kelly and I took him to the dog park. Someone had a JRT and it was so damn cool that he won The Kelly over. Yeah.... I'm assuming Spirit 43 solves the big Joe mystery. Or does it? Maybe he's faking? Heh. All in all, I think this week's comic did okay. I don't know if people will get the Freeza reference or the joke in general, but it amused me. It all started when Rob and I were discussing Dragon Ball and how ridiculous the fighting got at times. I don't ever think we'll ever see something like the Freeza fight again in the history of comics. I mean we're talking about a bad guy who power up transforms three different times AND THEN slowly powers up by percentages in his final form. Couldn't he just have started at 100% Final Stage 3 and kicked Gokuh's right from the beginning or at least sped things along somewhat? Anyway I continue to be pleased with the crispness the post scaling brings to the smaller drawings in panels. I used it in Panels 1 and 3 on Dave and Joe respectively. I actually like the way Panel 1 turned out. Something about the composition and the way Misaki and Dave just fit on the panel. Okay I need sleep. Sleeeeeep.
