| "Superman, Ride of Steel" Sunday - July
20th, 2003 This weekend, I went to Six Flags Darien Lake with The Kelly. It was fun as usual. Didn't get to go on Superman as many times as we would've liked, but we did go on the water rides this time around. We were going to go on Superman one last time at the end of the night, but it broke down and we were turned away. We also stopped at Tahoe's on the way back home and that was perfect as always. A garbage plate never fails to cap a great day. In other news, Joe seems to planning a trip to Syracuse next weekend. Good times up ahead I'm sure cause it means another Tahoe's trip and possibly Dinosaur and Cracker Barrel. I still haven't come up with what we're going to do, but I'm sure I'll think of something. There is Oswego Harborfest going on, but that's a trap in and of itself. We're talking the kind which involves one road going in and out, hundreds of people coming and going, and a traffic jam which could leave you comatose. So on to Spirit 37. The strip came pretty easily, except for the punch line in panel 4. I thought Yuki's face in panel 3 came out pretty decent. I don't know if it works or not, but hopefully it does. Anyway, I thought it'd be funny to bring up an example of how Yuki being chronologically impaired 9 (as is mentioned in his cast page) comes into play. We also get to see how Joe is stalling Lord Hawk as best he can before Lord Hawk finally tires of it and kills him.
