Comic for Thursday July 17th, 2003

Hope you like today's comic. For any of you who like to play Madden NFL video games, I learned something pretty kick ass. Apparently they have made the franchise mode even DEEPER in this year's installment due in stores in the middle of August. Whereas before you made moves as the coach, you now control your team as the owner and you control things like who to hire as your coaching staff, how much to charge for tickets to your games, how to design your stadium, etc, etc. It sounds too good to be true. Plus I guess great players who retire have a chance of coming back to be a head coach. God I love Madden football games.

I also wish to announce that Fox can go to hell for canceling John Doe. To add insult to injury, reports say that Fox had decided to keep Fastlane over John Doe till they realized that Bill Bellamy is NOT funny and then cancelled that show as well.

I don't really have anything to add besides that and plus I need sleep.

Spirit 36 was pretty difficult script wise. I knew what I wanted in the first half, but I couldn't conclude it till I fortunately had my 80's mix playing while trying to think of ideas. Poison popped up and the rest is history. As for the art, I have to say that it wasn't bad. I mean it looked pretty horrendous as pen and ink. This was definitely one of those cases where color and some PS filters came in to save the day.
