| "Dead Tired" Wednesday - June 25th, 2003 Started the comic late so it took a little longer then usual. Plus I am mad tired. However it is up for your viewing pleasure. I'll write a more standard post tomorrow afternoon after work. For now this happy puppy needs some sleep.
"It's Getting Hot Out Therrrre" Thursday - June 26th, 2003 I guess Summer is finally upon us here in Syracuse. It's been cold and rainy till this past weekend and then all of a sudden we're finally hitting the high 80's and low 90's. I don't like it when its this hot out though. The sad thing is I think there is never a time of perfect weather for me here. I need it around the mid 70's with a decent breeze and nothing but blue skies. occasional rain, because I am one of those freaks who loves it when it rains every once in a while. We have a cool lunch type thing at work tomorrow. I don't really know how it works, but I know that there will be good food and I am always one for good eats. Oh and that reminds me. At work today, Bill offered me an organic fruit smoothie drink type of deal to sample. I can't remember the name of the drink, but I do remember him mentioning that it used to be from the Samantha company line of organic drinks. I thought it was quite tasty. You could actually taste the separate components of the juice easily. I had a Strawberry Banana drink that also included OJ and apple juice. It was quite tasty and I recommend it to anyone. Speaking of Good Eats, Alton Brown is the Lord of the Food Network. F that F F Emiril. Although the Iron Chefs can give Mr. Brown a run for his money at times, Good Eats remains my favorite all time cooking show. I recommend that as well. I can't recall when or where, but I overheard someone talking about the good ole Jack Russell today. "A dog with ADHD" they said. I argue the attention deficit part since Jacks can focus on tasks with single minded obsessiveness. It just might not be the task you want them to do. However I do have to agree with the hyperactive part of the disorder. A Jack is not a dog you should ever get unless you have a spacious yard and patience to train. Their working heritage guarantees them a very high intelligence that they seek to put to good use ALL THE TIME. Spirit 30. The drawings came out easy, but like I mentioned in my previous post I was short on time so I'm not sure if they came out as good as they could've. I'm happy with the whole thing in general though. I guess it's always fun times when you can throw in characters you don't draw all the time (i.e. Yuki). So that's it. Tenko is back and he has some huge bits of info to share. Enjoy Ninja Spirit's "lots-of-words-to-explain-lots-of-backstory-and miscellaneous-things" next week. I won't be too bad I promise.
