| Wednesday - June 18th, 2003 I'm really tired and need to get to bed so the usual post will have to wait till tomorrow. In which I will talk about the greatest 25 songs from the last 25 years on VH1 to singing cats. Till then I leave you with my liner notes for Spirit 28. I had fun drawing Spirit 28, but then again I was following up a disappointing strip from Monday. I think Yuki and Kelly's expressions throughout the comic were better then my usual effort. you could almost know what was being said without the word bubbles. In fact here is an example of a failed script in the following comic. Panel 1
And so on. Anyway I'll talk about the guitar playing cat tomorrow and you have to have Potter somewhere in the room since Order is coming out in a few days. Needless to say I had fun finding the things to hang up in Kelly's room. I wonder if anyone can get the title reference though? E-mail with guesses I might have a prize or something for the first right answer.
Thursday - June 19th, 2003 Fuck me Freddy. My online is not on line. I apologize to the readers of the comic. If you can believe me, the comic is done and ready to be posted, but I have no way to post it at my place. I'm going over to The Kelly's house in a few and hopefully I will be able to upload the comic there. I'm so pissed. Anyway I guess I should continue with my rant from last night which I concluded before I tried to post... VH1 is playing the Greatest 100 songs from the last 25 years. They've had 100-60 so far and I can't say I'm all that disappointed with the list so far. the songs are all good and while I might have issue with the position for some songs as compared to others, I can understand why they are on the list. Kelly argued that the Backstreet Boys shouldn't have been on there. I though they should because without them there'd be boy bands crossing into adult listening. I know MOST of the people who listened to I want It That Way thought it was decent and catchy. It's well written. Anyway I won't go into how The Kelly argued that Boys II Men should be considered a Boy Band. Second on the agenda are the freaky cat commercials that are on VH1 right now. They have the Essence, Karma Chameleon, and Who Am I (What's My Name) on there right now. I found the site of the guy who came up with the idea while trying to find the commercials online yesterday. They aren't as high quality as the ones on VH1, but they are still rather hilarious. I personally like the White Stripes one best. In fact despite my hatred of the whole breath-stealing species feline species, I am so happy with the fake cats that I had Kelly put up a poster of indie rawk cat in her room in today's comic. Anyway I should go because I hear my phone ringing. Sorry again all. I should be back online by tonight the online people tell me. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
