The Lakers blew out the T Wolves. Couldn't they have just swept them? No... Minnesota has to win two to get the series advantage in a way to make me think... 'Hey, they might really be able to do this'. Then the Lakers start playing like the Lakers and you remember that yes, the sun always rises, no one will ever break as many records as Gretzky, big corporations will always F you up the ass, and things will always better after you eat a plate.

Hope, you can be such a cruel bitch of a mistress.

In other news, I am now officially employed by Syracuse University. I'm pretty psyched about it.

I want to eat some Jalapeno Poppers, but I think I'll hold off on them for now. Have you ever tried them? They are quite the rage among us aspiring webcomic artists in the Eastwood area of Syracuse. Oh, and cooking tip for those of you who might not know... never put something with frost or water in hot oil.

Personally, my favorite sports games are Madden and NHL 2002 by EA. Madden probably has the greatest franchise mode ever. It's as deep as I want it to be and it allows for great editing while preventing cheating from happening. I like the fact that building up my team just takes time, effort, smarts, and a little luck. NHL 2002 on the other hand is my choice when I want to straight up play a game. I mean now that I built up my team in Madden to a powerhouse, I wreck house on All Madden mode with handicaps for the AI. However NHL lets you tweak just enough so that the games are close. It's fun to destroy the computer and wrack up stats, but its also sweet to beat the F'in thing when you could also have easily lost.

Anyway enough about games and such I think I should spend some more time talking about the comic in general. I like the way the comic is going. I wish I could go faster, but this is about the right pace for me to remain on a fixed schedule. the one thing I've had to compromise is the length of the story. the first chapter of the story was intended to last a week, but had to be cut to this day. Otherwise the first chapter wouldn't have been over for a year!! It's unfortunate that I had to cut out parts, but it's all in equaling the balance between story pacing and storytelling.

As for Spirit 14, I just noticed that there really wasn't a joke contained in this strip. Except the fact that the sword somehow appears behind Kappa to kill him. Anyway I just had a generally hard time of figuring out the panels for this one and though it may not be satisfactory to the readers, it somehow came out okay for me in the end. I didn't like it till I saw it all together and then it just somehow didn't seem as horrible as I thought it to be.

Anyway enjoy and thanks for reading.

River is knee deep in S#@&!!
