Comic for Monday April 28th, 2003

I got my first taste of the cafepress store and I have to say I am very satisfied with the quality of their goods. I ordered two mini poster prints and a bumper sticker and all three came exactly as pictured in the store. I have the 5 Spot print hanging right next to me as I type this. It brings me much love for this comic.

The one thing that really stuck out for me was how damn clear the type in the logo was. I mean you can clearly see the texture in the logo and everything. So if you were hesitating on buying stuff till you heard otherwise, then here's a testimonial. I like the goods. I wish I had more money to buy more crap!

Recently, I've been fixing and updating my online photo album filled with pictures from various events in my life as they come and go. It's been tough, but I finally got everything nice and organized and now I just have to add more pictures. I think I still have like 5 days of Japan, last years State Fair, and a visit to the NY aquarium to upload to the computer.

Spirit Thirteen... well like I mentioned in my previous post, this one is a special deluxe strip. I wish I could have used a higher resolution setting for the double panel, but it would've been huge. It still looks decent. I can't really say much else about it. Actually I will mention the reason that the speed lines are somewhat faded are because I actually drew them in pre-computer. they just didn't take to the scanner well so for now on I'll just stick to doing the speed lines in PS.

I just had the joke in mind since I decided to make Yuki's sword "inadequate". A running gag if you will, but I just want to keep coming up with good ways for everyone to get on Yuki's case about it.

But there it is. Going back to the normal 4 panels for Thursday's comic. I don't know when I'll do the next double panel comic, but I'm sure it'll happen again. 

River is jumping for joy.
