I am sooooo tired right now. My friends came up for the weekend and a great time was had by all. I play soccer in a league and tonight we only had two subs for the whole game. I think by the time I was done, my eyesight was going. So this post is going to be mad short. I'll try and post something a little more substantial tomorrow after I get some sleep.

River feels exhausted!

Monday - April 14, 2003

Okay so after about ten hours of sleep, I am feeling somewhat better. Allergies are killing me though. I've been congested all day.

To recap, my friends Joe and Dave came up to visit this weekend. Tom also came up on Saturday so we could go out to Rochester and eat at Tahoe's. We went to a great pet store to hang out with some dogs before we ate. We of course ate and then headed back home.

We hung out for the rest of the night and Tom left to go home to Albany. On Sunday we went out to Cracker Barrel for lunch and then we went down to the University area so Joe and Dave could buy some Syracuse NCAA Champion garb. They then left and then I went to go play soccer.

Like I said in my previous post, it was rough. We hung in for most of the game till our lack of subs and fresh legs caught up to us and we lost like 8-11. We're still going to make the playoffs though. That should be sweet.

Anyway after the game I went back to The Kelly's house and just crashed for two hours before making my way back home. Almost passed out as I was posting today's comic and then went right to bed.

Quite the weekend.

About Spirit 9. The original idea was to rehash the feel from Spirit 2 and make a joke out of it. instead I think the adlibbed Kelly observation I threw in while I was drawing panel 4 saved the whole thing. I do like the posters in the background.

Also for all of you who are that nit picky, the posters are meant for English Class which according to the cast page is the only class in which Joe, Yuki, and Kelly have the same class. Kelly is in 10 grade English because she is a skilled English student if you must know.

River feels a little under the weather
