Comic for Monday April 7th, 2003

I went to the circus today. I thought the animals were sad. I wondered a couple of times what it would be like if someone fell when doing a high wire act. It was a circus though what more can you say about it? PETA people say they are evil to animals. Most PETA people are obsessed mindless idiots spouting whatever drivel some cult leader instilled upon them. I guess it could be worse. I do happen to agree that circus animals does seem to be a dated and archaic concept that needs to be done away with. Zoos on the other hand are educational institutions and provide a valuable service. 

Enough about that.

My friends are coming up this weekend. I think. that would include Joe, Dave, and Tom I think. It should be a good time as we head out to Rachacha to visit the Promise Land. It makes everything better.

In other news, my friend Brian has announced that he has been given notice that he will be joining the war. Although I'll be sure to send more wishes along personally, I thought it would be remiss of me to not wish him well in this public forum. Good luck and come back safe cause the world just isn't right with JUST 3 Stephens siblings.

Spirit 7 is a decent strip. Not great, not bad. Somewhere in the middle. The background grates on me though. Too empty. I've been working on the backgrounds a lot more on the Month 2 strips and they are light years better then this plain yellow that's up there now. You'll just have to wait and see. Actually, you just have to wait till Thursday cause one of the best backgrounds so far as well as the obligatory Simpsons homage is coming up.
