Comic for Monday March 31st, 2003

Of all the things I have got to be doing, playing Parasite Eve is not one of them. Yet I'm playing it. The game came out what 7, 8 years ago? It's still pretty decent and you can whip through it fast enough. Only took 7 hours to beat the game and now I'm working on the EX game. I don't think I ever beat the secret ending so maybe now if finally the time. Maybe for goof laughs I'll stick in Final Fantasy Tactics and beat that as well.

You don't find the humor in that because only my friend Dave can comprehend that last statement. You see, I have logged over 200 hours in Final Fantasy Tactics. Most of it I just sat there for hours pumping up my guys. Every guy in my group almost knows EVERY job technique in the game. In fact should I decide to finish it, I should roll over the main bad guy with only scrubs in my group. 

And I should add that Orlandu is one of the most kick ass video game characters ever. 

Enough about video games though. Spirit Five is the topic and I think I will say this is the first strip that I am not going to say anything bad about. Not great, but good. I especially like Joe's expression in the 4th panel.

I will also add that I think this is around the time we settled on the color for Yuki's jersey. It had been a lighter gray, but we darkened it to better represent the Intermilan jersey which it is supposed to represent. 

In postscript I will also add that the real Joe is nowhere as cool as Johannesburg Lockhart the Tenth.
