Comic for Thursday March 27th, 2003 |

| Tuesday - March 25, 2003 I don't really have anything to say right at the moment. Really. SSDD. Actually I am really enjoying the Zwan album. It's like all the slower melodic Pumpkins songs. Like a whole bunch of Thirty Three and Perfect. I will say the work continues on the comic and I am working on any number of strips from 11-15. Kelly is still coloring hard to keep up. Poor girl. I told her that B+W was the way to go. More props to her for taking the time to color. I saw a report on the news today about how the US troops might be getting close to the danger of having chemical warfare used against them. They talked about VX Gas in particular. I couldn't imagine having to march in the middle of some desert having to worry about enemy fire and on top of that knowing that if VX gas was poured out, I only had seconds to strap on a gas mask and then jab a hypodermic needle in my thigh. Then still having a 10% chance of death. Whatever my thoughts on the war are, I think my only cares right now is that everyone involved gets home safe to their homes and family. On both sides. On a lighter note, Kelly and I rented the first season of Malcolm in the Middle from netflix and fuck me freddy if the show isn't one of the best I've seen in a long time. I'm sure I'm not saying what hasn't already been said, but the damn show is to family sitcoms as Harry Potter is to children's fiction. Pure Genius. On to Spirit Four. Ugh... Not to sound repetitive, but I almost changed the joke on this strip post production three times. I decided to stick with the original script and move on. I enjoyed the art on this one thoroughly I might add however. I'm not saying I'm a great cartoonist or whatever it is I do, but I did well enough to think it was pretty decent.
